Can DBEverywhere See My Data?

No. DBEverywhere does not see, log, or store your database contents.

How It Works

When you use DBEverywhere, phpMyAdmin or Adminer runs on our server and connects directly to your database. Your SQL queries go from the tool to your database. The results come back from your database to the tool. You see them in your browser.

DBEverywhere is the proxy, not the endpoint. We route the connection — we don't sit in the middle reading it.

What We Can See

We see connection metadata: - The database host and port you connected to - When you connected and when your session ended - Your database type (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) - Your account email and plan

What We Cannot See

We do not see: - Your SQL queries - Your query results - The contents of your tables - Your data

phpMyAdmin and Adminer communicate directly with your database. While these tools run on our infrastructure, we do not instrument them to capture or log queries or results.

We Don't Log Queries

There is no query logging, no query history feature, and no analytics on what you do inside phpMyAdmin or Adminer. Your database activity is between you and your database.

The Firewall Is Your Kill Switch

Since DBEverywhere connects to your database from a single static IP, you can revoke all access instantly by removing that IP from your database firewall. Once removed, no connection from DBEverywhere can reach your database, regardless of what credentials exist.
