Privacy Policy

• ✓ Email address — used for authentication (magic link sign-in) and account-related communication.
• ✓ Billing information — if you upgrade to the paid plan, Stripe collects and processes your payment details. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID but never your card number.
• ✓ Connection metadata — database host, port, database type, and session timestamps. This is used to display your session history and enforce usage limits.
• ✓ Saved connection credentials (opt-in only) — if you choose to save a connection, your host, username, password, and SSH details are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. See our Security page for details.

• ✗ Your queries or data — phpMyAdmin and Adminer communicate directly with your database. We do not intercept, log, or store any SQL queries or query results.
• ✗ Passwords by default — database credentials are held in memory only for the duration of your session and wiped on expiry.
• ✗ Tracking or analytics cookies — we do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies.

We use your information to:

• → Authenticate you and maintain your session
• → Process payments and manage your subscription
• → Enforce usage limits (free tier session cap)
• → Send transactional emails (sign-in links, billing receipts)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following third-party services:

• → Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• → Mailgun — transactional email delivery. Subject to Mailgun's Privacy Policy.
• → DigitalOcean — infrastructure hosting.

• ✓ Session credentials — wiped automatically when the session expires (1 hour for free tier, 8 hours for paid).
• ✓ Session metadata — retained for your session history. Does not include credentials.
• ✓ Saved connections — retained until you delete them.
• ✓ Account data — retained until you request account deletion.

You can:

• → Delete saved connections at any time from your dashboard
• → Cancel your subscription at any time
• → Request a copy of your data or request account deletion by emailing privacy@dbeverywhere.com

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
